The second EP of a series. Spectres Of The Future Haunt The Past sees me shift Quartersized in a more experimental textural direction.

The songs started out as an attempt to make an album for my alter ego The Trifler (aka Cauterised). Gone are the heavy beats and noise of Observe The Fall and Bury The Past leaving ghostly after images,traces of sounds and half remembered dreams.

Like my more recent Cauterised releases, sounds have been heavily treated and broken into pieces. Unlike Cauterised the samples are mainly self generated and from more than one source.

Spectres Of The Future Haunt The Past sees me trying to push at the boundaries of the musical constraints of Quartersized and move into uncharted territories.
